Why Doesn't Cathy Eat Breakfast? / Petaluma Chicken

I know this has been stated, but I'd again like to bring up the utter insanity that is Petaluma Chicken.   This short has got to be one of the most sinister things I've ever watched, the utter bizarreness of it leaves one with a general feeling of confusion and uneasiness.

The David Lynch reference couldn't be more appropriate.

I know this is WAY late, but I finally got a bit of money to play around with, so I decided to buy a few of the shorts I had missed out on.  I had trouble breathing, I was laughing so hard.  It's a good thing nobody else was around, or I would have scared them.  The Petaluma Chicken part was just so bizarre.

Okay, what in the hell was that Petuluma Chicken film about. Was it a deleted scene from Eraserhead or something?

I find it far more likely that it was a deleted scene from Un Chien Andalou.

I think it's a koan or conundrum where there is no correct answer, but by trying to create an answer, you open up mental doors within yourself.  Or she doesn't like breakfast.
