Reminds me of a bit that Lewis Black does.  He asks the audience if milk is good for you.  When he gets a moment of silence he says, "See?  We don't know anymore.  It changes every day."  And the same, he explains, goes about drinking water and how much.

Not to nitpick but the Black segment is on eggs, not milk.

Tripe

Depends on the show, I'm pretty sure in Black on Broadway he does it about Milk.

Can I ask, do you read pediatric journals regularly or did you do a google search to find this information?

It was kind of roundabout. My Googling led me to the journal's web site, and so I searched it manually (you'll notice the actual study isn't about early menstruation).
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere.
Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."

I think arguing on forums gives you autism.

Oh wait, no, it just makes you retarded.  Autism has some merits ;)

Autism has some merits ;)

Can make one appear mysterious, a la the Mona Lisa....

Or give you a film career like Jim Carrey...

since when did cancer start asking for support?

Cancer must have it's own lobbyists now.  That must be what Tom Delay is doing now.

If the NE is still standing firm on their story that he has five weeks to live, well, then congratulations, they're harassing a dying man with cameras and judgement.  Let's say he is terminal: then who gives a shit if he smokes?  Leave him in peace.  These things make me sick.

My Mom had Metastatic Lung Cancer.  She let it go until the doctors had to give her chemo during the biopsy.   It was so advanced - crushing her windpipe.

She went through a new form of chemo through the teaching hospital at Jackson Memorial in Miami.  That was brutal but it put it into complete remission.  She started smoking again and was dead in two weeks.

If he's really terminal, there's no point ripping apart his system with chemo.

If he's going to take chemo, he's wasting his time if he's going to smoke.

(and no, gbeenie, I can't back that a website - just personal experience)

odd, how I kinda started the citing thing, but then it's still damn funny.
The Ood: The Beast and his armies will rise from the pit to make war against God.
Rose: I'm sorry?
The Ood: Apologies. I said: I hope you enjoy your meal.
