Bought three more secondhand DVDs.  Zombieland, Gremlins and The Expendables.  I love the first two, while the third apparently has some good special features.

I got Simpsons S14 for $17 on Amazon recently.  Also bought the Thundarr the Barbarian set.  Kinda looks like crap--lots of interlacing problems.  That's what you get with an archive VOD from Warner, I guess.

I have gotten several Warner Archive discs and haven't had any problems. They are all basic straight transfers no restoring or anything but they have all been pretty solid.

That's cool. I do wish they would spend a little bit of money on the menus....  Since they are DVD-Rs already I usually rip them and make new menus.

Since they are just DvDrs it would be nice if Warners would let you download the video files to your computer and burn the discs yourself. That way you wouldn't have to wait for the disc to show up in the mail.

I make no apologies for the Pratchett stuff, but I fear that I went insane when I picked up the Disney International films. Still, HSM:C can't be worse than the US version. I hope.
