Riff won't load with ID4

[Shamalama]

The riff will load in the player but the rifftrax never starts.  The movie plays fine with sound and picture. I have tried on multiple machines with no luck.

Note:  I am using a Japanese version of the DVD since I live in Japan, but this has never been a problem with other movies.
