Doctor Who?

I have watched the first 40 minutes and even when I am resyncing on every sync line it still gets 5 to ten seconds out of sync by the very next sync line?

There is nothing wrong with my disc anyone else having this trouble?

The weird thing is sometime the track is behind the movie sometimes it is in front but on each line it is always at least 5 seconds out of sync.

Are you watching the PAL version by accident?

Are you watching on a computer or on a TV?

Do you like green eggs and ham?

Doctor Who?

I am watching the  NTSC version and i am watching it on TV(Rifftrax player will not work on my computer :speechless:),maybe i should download the Pal version of the track and see if that works better.

I do not like them Sam I Am,I do not like green eggs and ham.

You do not like them, so you say. Try them, try them, and you may.

Seriously though, don't use the PAL version unless you bought the PAL RiffTrax. The framerate per second is completely different between PAL and NTSC. Is it possible your B&R disc is a different edition? What's it say on the box?

well the whole off by 10 seconds each time totally sounds like a PAL/NTSC issue.

It's a copy of the VHS version, but I don't know why the vhs and the DvD would be different since there isn't a director's cut on DvD.

I will first try useing the PAL version and if that doesn't work i will rent the DvD off of Netflix.

I will not eat them in a box,I will not eat them with a fox,i will not it them here or there I will not eat them anywhere.

Well if you're a US citizen, don't use the PAL as that will be worse.

The VHS can't be guaranteed, since it's most likely from 1993, things could be slower on it, stretched, etc. I don't see why it really wouldn't (others have done this with prior Star Trek releases of ours) but you never know. Worst case scenario, rent the DVD. Good luck!

Doctor Who?

I will try renting the DvD.

I didn't really think about using the VHS since I used the VHSes with ID4,Daredevil,Star trek 5,and I didn't have any trouble with them.

Yeah I'm really surprised, but ... you never know. Try it with the DVD, make sure you're using the correct version, and let us know if the problem persists :)

Doctor Who?

Sure will.

Thanks for all your help, this is the best site on the net.

I also had synching problems with Batman and Robin. It was off during the middle of the film. We were using the NTSC version with the DVD release.
