MINE:
"Boy, I'm glad we can just take our sweet time with the Bat-signal."

YOURS:
"Sorry we didn't get there in time to prevent the murder of thousands, Commissioner Gordon. We were waiting for the car to spiral slowly out of the floor."

MINE:
"It's a Wonka-vator!"

YOURS:
"If you want to view paradise..."

MINE:
"Giant statue of a guy leaning over holding two globes... much more cost effective than a regular street lamp."

YOURS:
"Ah, Rodan's 'Man Holding Balls.'"

MINE:
"Ah, recklessly endangering hundreds of people. Good plan."

YOURS:
"What's a few dozen casualties as long as we get our man."

MINE:
"Today on Supermarket Sweep..."

YOURS:
"It's just like Walmart on Black Friday."

There's more, but those were the ones that were similar.

Chaos

Hey, this is a good idea for a thread. I never even thought of it. Nice work!

Let's give some love to the lines that we KIND of thought of, but someone else found just the right words for. :)

Anybody else have some others?

I also thought of a wonkavater line, just "I don't like this new darker vision of the Wonkavator" but I have to agree, just singing "If you want to view paradise" gets it across just as well and gave me a good laugh.

I already mentioned my "Hef's back in charge" being trumped by "There's an appalling lack of bunnies in the mansion" much better way to put it.

Let me think for awhile, I'm sure there's more.

Chaos

The Riff Raff Theater guys (Chris and the performers and a couple of other local writers) had a series of jokes about villains falling into vats of stuff for the scene when Victor Freeze... falls into a vat of stuff. It was pretty funny, but we ended up deciding it was too "observational" and not cooky enough. I like the "leggo my eggo" bit much better. It's just so random... that's the stuff that really makes you laugh, because it's unexpected. :)

Blue Raja

Though there were many better than mine, one that came to mind upon reading the thread's idea was this:

In the scene where Batman falls through the roof and lands on the dinosaur's head, stating "Hi Freeze.  I'm Batman," I had put down as a response for the riffers as: "So is that George Clooney playing Batman, or Batman playing George Clooney?"  Clooney's delivery of that line was just so matter-of-fact and NON-Batman - aka, exactly like himself - that I couldn't help but think something to that effect every time I saw that scene.  Still, the "We met on E-Harmony, remember?" was far and away a better line.  Glad it got in.

Bruce Wayne and Victor Fries are probably the only people rich enough to not get rejected by e-Harmony.

When Bane is "redecorating" (i.e. smashing) Poison Ivy's new "lair"...The riff that was included was "Design On A Crime!", a play on the HGTV show Design on a Dime.

I wrote "Bane gets all his redecorating ideas from watching HGTV all night".
