I see they have it posted separately. Is it an actual rifftrax, or just a commentary?

...and is it funny?

Their the same track but you can either buy the Colorized version dvd at most brick mortar stores (I got mine at Circuit City) or from this site you have the option to download the rifftrax. I recommend the legend color version, no muss no fuss plus you get a great film colorized.

I thought it was good. That was the first Legend DVD I bought and I didn't know how I would like just hearing Mike and not having the shadowrama and robots and stuff. The big difference with the Legend discs and Rifftrax as we know them is that to me the DVD releases were to be a satire of regular DVD commentary tracks. Mike is always offering trivia and where are they now information on the actors in this film that I am certain is made up. I liked all the Legend tracks but they are a bit different than the Rifftrax we are used to here.

I would say that it is not as strong compared to the other Legend DVDs and the new Rifftrax.

However, if you need some drink recipes, it's the only one to buy. ;)

NOTLD is more of a commentary then riffing.

p.s. if you decide to get NOTLD, be sure you get the Mellenium Edition DVD. It syncs up perfectly with the rifftrax. Other versions dont sync.

I prefer movies in color. I just do. That being said, I've seen the B&W version dozens of times (i previously owned it on vhs & dvd). Color or no color, "night of the living dead" is one of my all time favorite movies.

Mike's commentaries for the Legend releases are quite a bit straighter RiffTrax. There's a good amount of riffing, but Mike also includes actual informative tidbits and genuine non-joking observations. It's a nice blend of goofing around and real insight. I'd recommend buying the DVD rather than downoading the RIffTrax. It's just plain easier, and they've done a great job on the movies, colorized or not.
