Okay, who on earth gave this a 3?

3?!?

Give me a break!

Yeah. And surprisingly it's a long-time member, but he doesn't post very often anymore.

He knows who he is.

Well I would have put a 7, but since he put a 3 I will put a 10.

9! Very solid and incredibly funny. Weird Al is terrific and I hope to see more of him in the future. Only thing stopping me from giving it a perfect 10 was I thought it started out a little slow. But once the Rifftrax got going it was great.

I can track them down. Unless they admit it themselves first. (I know who you are...)

No need ..... it was me......Sorry, but I thought Al was wasted in this riff (or I could have been in a bad mood when I watched it).  Thank goodness this is a secret ballot!! ::)

Well never assume that an online vote is anonymous. And he didn't actually out you at all either. It's just we are alway curious when someone puts a really low vote in and doesn't give a reason. The first thing to often suspect is that it's just someone wanting to screw with the poll and hasn't even bought or seen the trax, it's certainly happened before.

No one should be knocking you for your opinion, I stand by my low vote on SW Ep1, just share it with us why you voted that way.

You are most certainly allowed to not like it.

As long as you do so publicly and take the resultant brunt of attack from the rest of the fans. ;)

What did they say in The Leader episode of the Simpsons? "You're free to leave at any time... but mind telling us why?" ;)

I actually meant to put a smiley face instead of the eye roll........I just watched it a second time and I would still only give it a 5.  What was with all of the early 90's computer jokes?  I know that was when the movie was made, but Prodigy jokes?  I was almost expecting an 8088 processor joke.

There was some good stuff too......but it was just an uneven riff...IMO

The reason I didn't comment on it is because it would probably come off as bitchy.

Well you didn't HAVE to respond, I wasn't going to actually rat you out ;)  (I probably would've actually blamed BathTub or Uncle Rufus - see the "Your Favorite Mod" thread).

But yeah, you're allowed to not like it. I was playing along with the "Gimme a break" tone of the other posters... a 3 does seem a little harsh, though - I think even if Mike and Al riffed a phone book it would be at LEAST a 4.

Natureboy

It wasn't a question of hating it.....I was just disappointed.

The riffs have been outstanding for so long now and with the news of Weird Al guest riffing, I figured it was going to be a classic.  It just wasn't to me.

RoninFox

Gave it a 9, Al was hilarious, bit of a slow start but it was more than made up for down the line.  Another one I'll be sure to watch many times over.

Fortis

It was a bit uneven on parts, but I still think it is one of my favorites. Weird Al has a perfect voice for riffing.

RoninFox

Anyone else listen to an Al riff right before or after a synch line and realize that Al sounds like the "human" version of Disembaudio?

I was a bit disappointed too, but I think that's because I expected it to be the best Rifftrax ever because it was Weird Al (one of my all time faves) and Jurassic Park (one of my favorite movies).

I think I gave it a 7.  Maybe if I watch it again, I'll think more highly of it.
