Well, ya know, he and Sam Raimi did a humorous commentary on one of the 12,000 DVD versions of Evil Dead II (I think it was version 7243). I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet, but I hear it's pretty damned amusing.
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere.
Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."

Actually it was most of the other crew members on the track that were making fun of the movie. Bruce does a good Rob Tapert impression, but I don't know of any movies with Rob Tapert in the lead.

Pak-Man

Well if Lowtax, a man with no acting chops at all can do it (And he does it well) I think the door's wide open. :^)

bratpop

Yeah but that was on Troll 2, so if it sucked, would anyone's life have ended?

Off the top of my head:

Michael Dorn
Alan Alda
Joe Don Baker
Jimmy Kimmel
Tim Russ
Wil Weaton
Rene Auberjonois
Stephen Wright

MORE FRED WILLARD

and Bruce Campbell...maybe...

But definitely Fred Willard. He was great.

I've listened to Bruce's commentaries on all three Evil Deads and Bubba Ho-Tep numerous times, and I also have the audiobook version of his novel "Make Love the Bruce Campbell Way" that he reads and performs himself with a group of actors playing the other roles and they all make me laugh every time.  I'm more than convinced he'd be an awesome riffer.

How about Steve Oedekerk? He's a very funny man and he has a great voice for comedy material. He's excellent at doing voices (see: all of Kung Pow!) and his normal talking voice is also funny on its own. He has a very wacky sense of humor that would bring entirely new elements to the RiffTrax table.

For those of you who don't know who he is, he works as a director (Bruce Almighty, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, Jimmy Neutron...), an actor (Kung Pow!, Thumb series) and a stand-up comedian, and he is one of the funniest and most creative people in the business.

Steve Wright is an EXCELLENT choice.

But MY choice of for a guest riffer would be.......... ME!

Darth Geek

I'd love to see John Cleese be a guest riffer. Any of the remaining Monty Python guys, in fact.

Even Terry Gilliam?

Jinto

The best guest riffer ever, hands down, would be Steve Purcell, creator of Sam & Max.

Mr.Quark

Even though I'm not a big fan of Family Guy, I would like to hear Seth Macfarlane on one, just because he has a cool voice.
