Yeah and Al will be making an announcement on his site (and maybe his MySpace) closer to the release date.

You know, Torgos, in retrospect, it was foolish of me not to guess that Al was going to be a guest star, considering your new avatar. You usually don't choose non-topical avatars. I can't believe I missed it at the time. ;)

Dammit! Son-of-a-Bitch! Dammit!!

My Jurassic Park DVD I received from NetFlix today is Badly Scratched & Unplayable in my DVD Players!!
DVD Shrink (Cyclic Redundancy Check), And Magic DVD Ripper (Too Many Read Errors to Continue)!
Not even Polishing & Buffing the disc worked!
A replacement disc will be sent Monday & I'll receive it Tuesday in time for the RiffTrax release, but Still.. :grr:

A coincidence, I assure you :)

What? What is your avatar?

Actually, Bathtub completely ruined it for me because I saw his avatar when I started reading the thread. Yeah, so I didn't get up at 11am. I didn't know the riffer but guessed it pretty quick when I read the questions. Thanks, BathJERK.

Torgo's avatar is Moroni from "Johnny Dangerously", which happens to be the first movie Al ever did a theme song for.

Some of the gags are hit or miss, but it's a pretty funny flick. And "This is the Life" is a great song.

, you can always do what I did when I found that my Terminator 3 disc was unplayable: download a copy of the film to reauthor your RiffTrax DVD from.

Wow, great idea! Or you could just steal a copy from a homeless orphaned nun.

Well, I'm sure it violates the DMCA (like downloading a copy of a broadcast television show you missed does, even though it's the exact same thing as DVR-ing it live), but if you legitimately paid for a copy of the film, it shouldn't cause you any ethical worries.

Yes. Yes, you are. That's why you had to populate the video store with mannequins, so you wouldn't feel lonely.

HA! Paid??
I wouldn't Own this movie (uh.. well.. I do still have my original VHS copy of it.. ::) )

bratpop

Yeah if you paid for it and it was scratched I guess you could download it. I've yet to find something so scratched it wouldn't play though. What are people scratching their DVDs with?
