OK, seriously I did enjoy Bill making, and subsequently being chewed out for making Batman jokes while watching a Batman movie.

My wife and I actually had a long, drawn-out discussion over whether or not this was funny, or if it was too surreal and weird to be funny. I'm glad other people appreciated it. This is one that I wouldn't so much classify as "funny" as I would "clever." I forget off the top of my head who wrote it (it was a running gag written by one person throughout their script), but it amused me when I first saw it and I'm glad we were able to work it in.
I wrote that gag. I'm glad people appreciated it. It's sort of a callback to the days of MST3K and even other forms of media-related comedy in which Batman jokes are always "a safe way out" and are often regarded as "stock jokes". I just thought it'd be funny to have someone (I actually had Bill in my mind while I was writing them) just not get it at all.

They're my favorite pieces from my own script.

And it was cool hearing Mike mention Gamera :P

I thought it was a good running gag. I also liked the Kyoto Protocol joke and the one that went something like "He kills people by pushing them over and hoping for the best."
"There are no ordinary people. You have never talked to a mere mortal." C. S. Lewis

What I want to know is, who wrote the "Bat Bombs, Bat Bikes, what will they have next, shark repellant?"

That would be yours truly. :)

I think my favorite was "Kevin's coconut head. "

And I really enjoyed Bane make pun now.

We got several of  those from 3 or 4 contributors. We would have loved to have made it a running gag, but due to a series of timecode conflicts with a bunch of other funny jokes and bits, we only ended up with the one. It was my favourite of all the bane puns though. :)

Thanks!  That would be McGruber and myself who did the coconut head gag.

Great stuff.  Kevin's reading of "Ow, my coconut head!" is one of the funniest things I've heard in any RiffTrax.

I also quite enjoyed the bit where Alfred poops himself in bed.

There are other bits I liked a lot.  I'll have to rewatch and keep notes to remember them all.  So many good lines...

I wrote in one "Meanwhile!" joke, but I didn't think to go any further with it. My only other series reference was "Chief O'Hara!" I think most people forget while watching this (or Batman Forever, thankfully I don't remember that one), that Commissioner Gordon doesn't dress like that! Chief O'Hara does! Commissioner Gordon wears a TRENCHCOAT, Schumacher! Watch the first movie! He's not a beat cop! *strangles Schumacher*

Was the joke:  01:16:32 ^ Bain swings pipe at Batman ^ (Bain voice) Now Bain make pun!  Take hit off pipe! ?  If so, that's me.
I haven't got that far in the movie.  Don't have the stamina until the weekend.

I watched this with a group of friends.  There about 5 absolute favorite lines of mine, but the one that got the biggest laughs:  "VERE DO I POOP!?!?"

Agreed, I nearly choked on my orange juice!

Raven

I don't think that the line was all that funny by itself but the delivery was perfect.  Bruce whispering to alfred "There's dishes downstairs and they aren't gonna do themselves. "  Hilarious.

The "Pithy" comment Pakky had was great to.  It matched his expression perfectly.

Yeah, that was a great pair of lines. We liked it so much that we actually cut out one of MY lines to put it in (well, when I say "we" I mean Chris, at 3am... damn you!!! ;)). When Alfred was leaning against the statue grimacing while Bruce called out to him, I had "Just a second, I'm setting up some foreshadowing!" or something to that effect.

"Bat Skates, Bat Bomb,   what's left, Shark Repellant?"

Nice call back to the 60's

That made me laugh the most, because I already annoy EVERYONE at work on a daily basis with "Robin... get me... the shark... repellent... bat spray!"
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.
