It's just that he seems more interested in making money than the art of filmmaking. That's all. It's not nearly extreme as some people make my views out to be. Some people act as if I'm treating Jackson like he brutally murdered my cat. I'm not.

I would just like to point out the The Return of the King tied with Ben Hurr for most Oscer  awards won(11) and that over all the three films won 17(and were nominated for another 13).

That isn't even counting all the other awards they won.

Yeah Peter Jackson has no idea what he is doing.

I am sure Issac knows alot more about film making then The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

See, now that's a point I wouldly highly dispute with you.  It took Jackson 4 years to make Bad Taste.  You really don't do that unless you've got a love for films and film-making.  There are recent examples too, like The Frighteners DVD, which has a 3 and half hour documentary, in which Jackson specifically went through all the different stages of making a movie - even including some interesting on-set footage.

Oh, come on, if you honestly believe that Jackson isn't full of shit when he waited so damn long to file a lawsuit, then I just don't know what to do with you. If I hadn't gotten paid for working on a film, I would not have done the damn commentaries for the DVD editions, the interviews, the various promotional gigs, etc. Jackson's claims are seriously flawed. You recognize this fact, yet you still claim that I'm full of shit because this does not correspond with your reality, because you love him and his films so much. Separate the movies from the man. He's a liar. Back before the movies were released, he initially claimed not to have seen the previous adaptation, then said that he saw it, but it didn't motivate him to go out and read the books, and then went around and changed his story once more, saying that he loved the previous adaptation and that it inspired him to go out and read the books. Another example of Jackson caught red-handed lying. He's full of crap.

one you post no proof to back up your bizaarly intimate knowledge of when he filed his suit how much he got paid or rather how much of the total he got paid (you know the thing he is actually sueing over) so it can be ignored

The Academy Awards are really overrated. I mean, look at all the important directors who never won an Oscar:

Another thing, I seem to recall that Waking Life was initially supposed to be nominated for a "Best Animated Film" Oscar, but they nominated the derivative, poorly-written, badly-designed film Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius instead, because some bright guy got the idea that if an R-rated animated film would win an Oscar, all Hell would break loose, that there would be too much controversy. I don't trust an awards ceremony that eliminates films based on how controversial they perceive the reactions to that film winning would be.

since you used a PERSONAL pronoun i can only assume you were directing it at me.  However the comment is asisinine since it makes assumptions.  assumptions that arent backed by reality (meaning here my love for either the movies or jackson). so like i said your argument falls flat.  please supply another one preferably a decent one for my original post restated here:

issaac its time you came to terms with what is reality. 

you hate jackson (its an irrational hate deal with that too) because you loved jrr tolkeins books and other middle earth lore, and felt jacksons films didnt live up to what you wanted.  As such have blamed for all sorts of irrational things. 

Wether or not jackson is being greedy cant be argued we simply dont KNOW enough, we can at best speculate. 

Further with more people making similar claims to what jackson has said seemed to back up his side.   

all these things are apparent to most people, as such most people take them as fact, which is essentially all we can do.  either deal with this reality or dont, but quit acting as if the REST of the planet is where the problem is.
