CT Launch Party - February 12th, 2008!

I should be in Minneapolis sometime around 4/5pm and am planning on just getting some sweet grub before the show. If there's going to be a meet-up...I'll stop by.

If it was a live performance or if it was Rifftrax involved I'd skip work in a heart beat. As is I just wish they would've held it on another day

I'm afraid I won't be able to make any kind of pre-show meet-up but I (plus guest) will be there 30-45minutes before the show to get the tickets.  So if you see a big guy in a green suede jacket - that'll be me.

From the look of acme's website the show has mostly sold-out, which is good to see.

I'll be standing in line too waiting for my will-call ticket 30/45 minutes before the show. Do you have any idea what their camera/backpack policy is?

I still don't have any idea when I'm leaving tomorrow and just want to hit up the Hard Times Cafe before going to the Acme. I'll be the one person wearing a Screeching Weasel t-shirt.

Productivity isn't in my vocabulary today on the eve of the CT Launch.

Heh.  I think that picture was taken right before the song started.  At least, that's my excuse.

I have been googling everything and anything regarding the camera/backpack policy of the Acme for several minutes and haven't come up with anything that's substantial other than this place sounds very cool. If it's like any of the other comedy clubs I've been too, I cannot see either being an issue, and if it does pose an issue, a quick jaunt to the car isn't a burden.

I just called and asked them about their camera/backpack policy.

They say that there are absolutely no cameras allowed.  This could be because of the CT crew showing clips of Oozing Skull.

As far as backpacks go, they say you can bring them but the ushers will take them from you and hold them until the show is over.

So, kind of a bummer overall.  I'll still bring my camera just in case though.

there not gonna search your pockets, besides RAD said he was going to be video taping it.......i say screw them, take the camera. If they catch you then you can hand it ove and get it after the show......besides now that I can't go I need to live vicariously through you1!!
