The Next Walt Disney

Hello, if you haven't noticed by my name I'm "The Next Walt Disney". (Don't laugh, it's a dumb name I know) Anyway I'm a new fan-riffer, along with the Bowersox family. You know, Indiana Bum, Quiptracks. No? Arrgh. Yes I am planning to run Disney someday. But until then I'll be riffing a couple Disney films that "don't have the magic".  cough*Michael Eisner*cough Yes, I am aware of the rumors past around about Disney and thats kinda why I want in. So I can make sure these "accidents" don't happen again, though the only known rumors are in about three films. I don't believe Disney was a nazi but a Nazi-sympathizer before the war. During the war he made two cartoons that ridiculed Hitler and the Nazi's, so it kinda is a turn off. I will be a mighty ruler of the Disney empire and get rid of the sweatshops that everyone keeps talking about. I give each and every employee a scan before I let him work in "Disneyland" and "Disney World". I mostly blame Michael Eisner for everything "evil" about Disney but with the evil out. Disney will be the cleannest most safest company ever!

More than Eisner, I think the "evil," if you can call it that, of Disney is a sign of the times.  A company ran as Disney did would not be successful today.  It's a different era. People's tastes and wants are different.  That's not to say that Disney could not run a business today. He was a shrewd businessman.

As for the Nazi thing, when you're an iconic character like Walt Disney, you've gotta expect that.  I was under the impression, however, that the only people who truly believed he was a "nazi" were white supremacists.  Others believe he was, as a business man, just doing what he thought was in the best interest of his company.  Like I said, he was a shrewd business man.  Securing licensing of films to Germany makes sense. . . until you're supporting genocide then making anti-nazi films makes sense.

No major company is ever 100% clean.

You don't have to start two threads on the same topic.

Sorry, I just meant to introduce myself. I was worried that someone might  come up and say "Disney's nazi"

Nah, unless it was born in the early months on this board, we're terrible at running jokes.  What makes the rudimentary lathe and the Red Dawn thing so easy to run with is because it's so old, it doesn't run as fast.  Some people still can't run with then, however, including myself.  I have a hard enough time with walking jokes.  I have to beat 'em with walking sticks before I get to 'em.

But, anyway, welcome to the board!

Are you gonna run Apple Inc. too.  Can I ask you about tech issues?

Now wait, you have a personality condition where you don't understand sarcasm or humor as most people do and yet you riff movies?  People with Asperger are known for being socially awkward and having a sense of humor unique onto themselves.  Also for being highly repetitive and self-interested.  Not trying to be rude, more power to you but how does that work?  Be interesting to see anyway.
