Sugar Ray Dodge

5. Slimer (I thought he was really scary as a kid, man.)

4. Dogen (Lost, Season 6)

3. Rufus Shinra (Even though he was clearly bad in FF7, FF7: Advent Children showed him reformed and wheelchair bound. He wasn't evil in this story at all, but I still was terrified of him.)

2. Renfield (Dracula.) - If being driven to the point of insanity by a demonic vampire and made to put yourself and everybody around you in mortal danger isn't scary, I really don't know what else could be.

1. The Jem'hadar. (I don't consider them malevolent because they are following their sacred military code, which includes loyalty and complete devotion to the Founders. They very often display signs of courage, honor and the willingness to do what their code says is right. There is no question that they hold the Vorta in contempt, and vice versa, so one has to wonder whether or not they hold the Founders and their cause in high esteem. I suspect they do not, but the military code that defines their existence requires strict obedience. I hold this seen up as evidence of this.)

Five Scariest Villains

5. The Boogeyman from Swamp Thing
Spoiler

4. Frank Booth
Spoiler

You'd think that as Dennis Hopper's most outrageous and over the top villain that he would be too out there to be scary... but NOPE!
3. Sir William Gull
Spoiler
2. Reverend Harry Powell - Often he can be quite comical, but holy fuck.
Spoiler

1. The Joker.  My one problem is that these days, writers seem to work to hard to make him the scariest thing ever.  There's some good stuff in there, but Mark Hamill is the best version, since he can be scary AND funny.

Top Five Underrated Super Heroes.

Johnny Unusual

5. Aquaman (He's great, but he needs the right writer.  I just wish people would stop bending over backwards to make him "badass" and tough.  There's already a character like that and his name is Namor).
4. The Atom
3. The Forever People  (Of all of Kirby's DC characters, these guys are the most underutilized.  There's a great pro-youth culture premise that doesn't get touched)
2. The Elongated Man (It's the Thin Man with super-heroes.  The only downside: less drinking)
1. She-Hulk (In the comic community, most people know she is good, but outside, she's a hard sell for some reason)

1. Up: That opening is one of the best things ever made and I don't think enough credit to the funny, sweet adventure movie that follows.
