Obviously, the Legend films P9FOS is the DVD that the guys used (and I have one from you guys), but I wanted to ask if the rifftrax or this will work with other releases.  Does any of the RT hierarcy know if the public domain or the cheapo DVD's will work with the MP3?

It won't work with the Cheapo releases.

But, I thought I read somewhere that it will work with the "Image" version.
You safest bet is to go with the Legend though...

Way back when, I watched the first Plan 9 track with the google video version and it worked fine.  I would assume that the new version will sync with google video as well, but with the film available on VOD, I don't know why you'd want to.

Nice.  I already bought the Legend Plan 9 way back when for Mike's commentary and now it will come in handy to sync this new track.

I still cannot believe that this means I will own 3 copies of the DVD.   

Kind of makes me wonder what is next on Divx........ perhaps all three doing all the legend releases?    Maybe some bad horror films out on public domain?
