Why'd they scrap the new fantasia?

I looked around but couldn't find a definitive answer, so I'll just go with "Michael Eisner".  I did find a recap of what looks like a pretty good animation evening with some details about the 3 other shorts that will be completely and released:

Then it was Roger Allers' The Little Matchgirl (another Fantasia 2006 piece), based on the Hans Christian Andersen short story of the same name. This short was almost never completed due to Michael Eisner insisting that all Disney stories have a happy ending.

Um, I think the blonde one with the nose job from High School Musical just Rick Rolled the internet.

This makes me more uncomfortable than the time my cousin Sydney thought I was quoting Hannah Montana when I said "whatchu talkin' bout Willis?"

(sputters)  But... that's horrible!  No midi drum beat opening?  A poor techno beat in the background?  A crappy singer covering the song?

And why, oh why, does "DESERT YOU!" play in the background just after she sings "I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling"?  Doesn't that just defeat the whole point of never giving you up??
