I didn't leave home 'til I was... 27? I think? I just didn't want to have a car payment and a rent payment at the same time. However, I helped out with bills, food, etc. around the house. The second I had that car paid off, I was apartment-hunting.

Then, of course, my dad had a seizure and had to be rushed to the hospital as I was moving my things into the new place. That made for an interesting afternoon.

i left home at eighteen, and again at twenty-seven, and again at twenty-nine. i might have to go back home again for another short stint at thirty-five if i can't get a job right away.

"They got here just before you did, I'm sorry."  ;D

Edit: I think what I love most is Lando's expression at the end.

Not sure if this parody has been posted here yet.

Ugh. This is the very definition of a "meme". Even if it was entertaining at first (I didn't find it that great, but whatever), IT'S BEEN ALREADY RUN INTO THE GROUND!

I tend to be a bit of a late adopter to memes. Mostly because I think the majority are too stupid to bother with. So I wait to see whether it has legs before I pay attention.

I thought it had run into the ground like you, but then I took an arrow to the knee.

Absolutely awesome. I love that we are starting realize that the tools we are using now are giving us so much more information if we take the time to figure out how to gather and analyze it. 3d imaging based on the angle and time difference of bounced light. Amazing. Hell, I was even amazed when they released cameras where you can focus the pictures on your computer using the data of the angle of light entering the camera. But this takes it even further.

My job is lighting, that's what I do, for films and commercials, and it's just plain awesome to see that laser bullet travel in slow motion. Reminds me of the 'slow light' in Terry Pratchett's Disc World books, and how the sunrise would slowly cascade over the mountains. But that bullet entering that coke bottle is even more beautiful than what I imagined those sunrises to look like.
