I've noticed that Kevin has been a guest riffer for the last 4 rifftrax (including The Grudge).
Is he now "unofficially" a permanent 2nd riffer?

Just to set the record strait, I am not complaining about this...I like Kevins riffing and I *really* hope he is a permanent addition to the rifftrax team :)

WHY DO YOU HATE KEVIN SO MUCH!?!? ;)

I like the direction that Rifftrax is moving in.  You go to Rifftrax for contemporary films, and Film Crew for public domain B movies. :)

It's truly a golden age for Rifftrax/Film Crew fans.

I doubt he's permanent.  Mike & Co. probably want to keep it loose, to make way for possible future guest riffers.

And they probably don't want to promise "He's Permanent!", that doesn't allow Mike to go on a solo effort again.

Kevin is my favorite riffer, and I hope he riffs on as many as possible, but I also would like to see some special guests in the future, too.

Maybe he's just got a few air miles to spare? Or perhaps he likes San Diego in the winter?

Either way, I hope he sticks around.  He's been great in his rifftrax so far and he got a little musical in the Phantom Menace.

I hear ya SJR. And I agree with the idea of "keeping it loose" so they can invite other guest riffers.

I wonder though, if they've decided to always have a second riffer now? Maybe move away from the solo projects?

Again, I am in favor of this idea.

did I not hear somewhere that Kevin is pernament? I coulda swore I read in some post somewhere that he's in for good... or maybe it was just some vivid dream?

meh.. who knows?... let's just keep watching and hoping... here's also hoping that Bill comes in more frequent.. and Marry J. Pehl would make a nice edition too, but I'm not gonna push this thread to be another guest riffer request =P

Not permanent, but it's been great having him around.

I thought maybe Bill was busy with his movie script at the moment.
