Well not really but I always wanted to say that. It's incompatible with this program I run (DVD Region +CSS Free) that bypasses those pesky Region limitations which for some reason my DVD player has. When I try to play it normally the video is a jumbled mess (although the sound still works properly) and when I try these codecs with similar names I get no video and the sound plays twice as fast. So all in all very strange.
Also what's the holdup on a player that plays PAL DVDs? I know not every faithful purchaser lives in the grand countries of America and Canada like most of us do and properly have to do things the old fashioned way of manually syncing the two. Just wondering. Copyright issues maybe?

We don't have PAL players, DVDs, drives, etc., to create or test on. That's mainly the issue.

Well, I *like* pieces of junk. Hello, spicy nacho Doritos.

Oddly enough, this has happened to me just minutes ago with Independence Day. All other videos work just fine. I have the NTSC version if that helps and as far as I know, the DVD drive is NTSC as well.
