I'm in for the separate MP3 too.

Not to toot my own horn, but to be a bit anal...I thought the volume level of the riffers was too loud. When I make mine, I will lower the volume level on the riffers so its closer to the movie volume. That way it doesn't sound like the riffers are blasting you.

BTW, Torso do you have a download link to this video yet?

Since I've been reauthoring, I've noticed that the guys are a lot louder than the actual movie.  No big deal though, just agreeing with you.  :)

Here's the download page for the short. For a DVD we'll want the MPEG2 version.

Got it thanks.

Yeah the MPEG2 for sure...I was hunting for the biggest version.

Edit: Seeing since Signal 30 is available from archive.org, I wonder if we could have a separate MP3 for it too?

mike5150 how tall are you?.....in gallons?

They only problem with the archive.org mpeg2s is that they are not the right DVD size. So some work needs to be done with them for re-authoring.

Yes, I just noticed that now.
I'm going to play with it in TMPGEnc tonight to try and get it to work.

Not the right size? What do you mean? DVDFlick seems to have no problem with it.

Edit: NEVERMIND. the video was hideously distorted when I re-authored it. Any suggestions?

JoshWay

Hmm. When I used the archive.org file for my Fun With Shorts DVD, I didn't have any trouble with the size. Although, come to think of it, DVD Architect did need to re-compress the video even though it was already mpeg2. In my experience, all the archive.org mpeg2s are not all DVD-ready.
