eegah wasn't being trolled, he was being inconsiderate, and attention grabbing. There was already a topic on CT on the main page when he made this post, with the spoiler information in the title. The people in the CT thread were considerate enough of others to use spoiler tags when they were discussing the title (which they already posted about 2 days before eegah did, further proving that he was being inconsiderate and just trying to grab some attention for himself).

I wasn't trying to be "attention grabbing". The title had just been posted on the mst3kinfo.com site, which was the first I'd heard of it, and I thought I was giving people information that they would want to know as soon as possible. I didn't see that it had already been posted in the other thread. And excuse me for not realizing that people didn't want to find out until the 10th. As soon as I saw your post, I changed everything that I could about the post to hide the movie title from everyone.

So, in summary, kiss my a--, dickweed!

What's with Joel spelling theater "Theatre"?

I know that's how they spelled it in the KTMA pilot, but they changed it quickly afterwards and stuck with "Theater" until the end (unless, of course, you count the misspelling in the SciFi ads for the final episode).

You did notice the smiley face, didn't you? I was teasing.

It just pisses me off when people accuse me of things that I know I'm not guilty of. I don't care if I'm "the one". I just want to get the info out to people as soon as possible.

But anyway, now that I look at it it appears that I haven't been following proper procedure in posting information. This forum is more organized than I'm used to. I think of the "Cinematic Titanic" as the announcement of the thing thread, and that a major development would necessitate a new thread. It appears that the idea is that all things CT go there. Same with the Rhino 10.2 thread. I apologize.

But Chaos is still a jerk for assuming an insidious motivation for my posts.

I didn't really care if you were serious or not, and to be honest, I never really pay attention to smiley's at all.  More reacting to you calling other forum members Jerkoff's that had me post at all.  Like I said, didn't matter to me either way.  Not saying Chaos was right saying you were trolling either.  I think you took it a little more serious than it was probably intended but what do I know, I'm not Chaos.

He was pretty clear about how serious he was in his second post, but, yes, I did overreact. His accusation was stupid on its face (who notices the person who first posts threads?), and I should've just pointed that out instead.

And now I know that on this forum major new developments don't necessitate a new thread. All updates should always go in the original thread no matter what. That's different than what I'm used to, but does appeal to my sense of organization. Less people will notice major updates, but that's the standard for this forum so I should adhere to it.
