[Curled in the fetal position]No Star Wars Holiday Special... No Star Wars Holiday Special... No Star Wars Holiday Special... No Star Wars Holiday Special... No Star Wars Holiday Special...[/Curled in the fetal position]

I believe the phrase you're groping for is, "Do not want".

This is an awsome choice! Now I just wish George Lucas would be a guest riffer for it.

The Google Video version is an upload of the WMAR Baltimore broadcast, which I have a DVD of (with the original commercials intact). It's made from an original VHS recording, so it'll look a LOT better than downloading from GV and converting.

I will sent the first five people who email me at reverendbeastly AT gmail DOT com a copy of this DVD for RiffTrax'ing purposes. Please no private messages. I'd like to get it to some of the forum regulars, so I'd also like your post count to be above, say, 150. Kind of hypocritical, given my post count, but hey, I'm the guy giving away free DVDs  ;D

After those people receive their DVDs, if they would send them to a batch of other forum members, that would be great. And so on. Like a good ol' MST3K tree. Remember those? Good times.

Let the emailing commence!

EDIT: Please include your forum name in the email so I know who you are :)

EDIT THE SECOND: All five copies are now spoken for!

In Nero 7, I just went to Make Your Own DVD-Video, then dragged the mp4 on, then went through the wizard (which allows you to make menus, etc.) and finally burned the project. It takes 2 hours to read through the mp4 before it can burn anything though (and it's still reading). I wish it were faster than real time.

You should probably try checking right here, on the product info page, buddy:

;)

Most video software will put MP4 on a DVD. . . just do it before you blow a gasket.
It supports MPEG4, (I've got that access key) but not the 'mp4' .. Says 'The video file could not be opened'. I'm looking into some other access keys to see if there is an option for MP4 files
They seem to be identical type files with the MP4 more 'Apple' based than Windows, but I think I'm just missing a particular codec or something..

Bob

I downloaded it from google and am watching some of this via iTunes...........

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?   HOW DID IT EVER GET ON TV?   IT IS EMBARASSINGLY BAD!

This is gonna be one great riff.   Expecially since there are commercials.

Hey, I have a 1981 Chargers - Dolphins AFC playoff game on DVD if they want to riff that too.

THANK YOU.

It opens mine.  If I go to file properties in windows it says: "MPEG-4 Movie (.mp4)"

I don't have version 11 though.  I have an earlier version.

That would be sort of redundant.  Then, as now, Chargers games tended to riff themselves.
