Yes I see it, do you know the comic I mentioned, I saw it once or twice.

See the reason I asked about Firefox is that it's the one I use and sometimes pictures simply don't display (I know it has to be FF because I can verify the existence of a pic in IE)

The book about the people who clean up after superhero fights: Damage Control.

And yes, that would be awesome, if adapted loosely.

Grendel, as an HBO (or Showtime) series of animated mini-series, with different art styles for each subsequent story arc (just like the comic).

I can dream, can't I?

I LOVE Grant Morrison, but I must respectfully disagree with BathTub in that the Invisibles is SO closely tied to it's medium that I don't think it can be done.

I'd love to see an epic 3-part animated Bone movie.  Jeff Smith was coming close before and then it turned out Nickelodeon clearly didn't get Bone, wanting to still in kiddie pop music and musical numbers.  Eww.

Four Women would also make a great, creepy film.  Sort of like the feminine equivolent of Straw Dogs (and not just because brutal rape is a large plot point in both movies).

Transmetro would make a great movie and I think that Jim Carrey would be perfect as the Smiler.  John Malkovich can be Spider.  But who would play the filthy assistants I wonder?

I thought I read somewhere that Patrick Stewart wanted to play spider at one point.

Another one I'd like to see is some sort of interpritation of the Justice SOCIETY of America. Or basically any WWII era team of mystery men.

Well he is, dude was rapidly thinning and receding at 18 :D

Not so much "comic book" as "graphic novel" (I'm picky), but I would like to see how Neil Gaiman's Sandman would translate to the big screen.  Could be interesting, in the least.  Not sure if it would translate all that WELL, but it's certainly something that I would probably check out if it were to be done.  (I'd probably roll my eyes if Tim Burton was inevitably signed on to director, but other than that, I could probably go for it, sure.)

I'm not picky.  They're the same thing.  It's really the difference between movies and cinema.  IE, one sounds more pretentious.  Although Graphic Novel is currently being used to describe comics that are rather thick and have never been individual issues (in other words, Sandman wouldn't count, but Sandman: Endless Nights would.

Frankly, for Sandman, I think it would make a great anthology.  Taking stories from the series and then having not only different directors handling each story but different crews, with different actors for each one (after all, the Sandman looks different depending on who dreams him).  Then you could have the short POV story from Vol. 9 as the viewer is taken to different parts of the Dreaming.

That would be cool.

Oh I was pretty much joking, the series is such a weird mind fuck that I don't really think it would work.
