is it the Theatrical cut? Special Edition?

Normally there is a mention of what cut the riff is synced to, maybe I just missed it. Let me know, thanks a lot.

I'm pretty sure there is just one DVD out there you can buy.  Regardless of whether it's in a standalone disc, three pack, four pack, five pack, whatever.

I think the special edition has more bonus features but the same cut of the film.  I'm pretty sure both will work.

Edit:  Whoops never mind.

Oh alright, thanks a lot. I'm borrowing it from someone and they asked if it being the special edition would be an issue. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Well, there used to only be ONE version and it was TWO discs. Now the money grubbing bastards at Warner Bros have decided you needed to be paying more for what you were already getting, so the two disc versions are all "special" or "deluxe" all of a sudden. But the first three movies only have one, keep your kidneys, edition.

The key is whether you're watching the theatrical or extended version.  There are now extended versions of some (all?) Harry Potter films with deleted scenes added back in.  These riffs were all recorded long before the extended versions were even announced.  In other words, these riffs were made for theatrical versions, and unless your video case displays "extended," the words "special" or "deluxe" may simply indicate that there are extra special features.

I've had the same problem, I have the standard 11-disc blu-ray but the riffs keep getting 2-3 seconds ahead. I'm trying the rip-and-merge which I tend to do because I like to be able to rewind easily and stuff.

Where are you from? the PAL NTSC distinction doesn't exist anymore, I suspect if it's just drifting like that then it sounds like you're using the wrong mp3 version.
