People With PAL DVDs

If the DVD title is exactly like the NTSC version (except it's PAL), please try to run it with the RiffTrax Player.  It should sync.

No go with Spider-Man, the first sync line is off by about 8 seconds.

Also no good with Casino Royale for me. The first sync line was bout 5 seconds off for me.

Very valuable feedback.  Thanks. We will look into it.  If you have any other PAL titles it will help if you could throw them in and see how far off each one is.. .

Remember you've also got the fact that there are 3 different cuts of CR coming to play as well.

If the PAL DVD is identical in everyway to the NTSC DVD... that is without any edits, the .riff should sync.

Which means Casino Royale is a deal-breaker, since none of those edits are the same.

It might just be me, but I can't even get the damn thing to work. I load in the DVD (which media player and what not recognise) but Rifftrax player wont, it just keeps telling me to insert a DVD.

We need more information:  Did it ever work?  Did you try another DVD?  What other Players do you have on your system?  What codecs?

Just tried The Matrix riff and that was about 5 seconds off again.
