The whole Black Friday shopping is really not about finding bargains so much as it is an adventure for people and adds a little bit of excitement into their lives.   As such, it really does not bother me.   It is kind of like tailgating for shoppers.

no its just theres a police auction out here on LI where they auction off DUI cars starting at 200$ most cars dont go above 1800 and trucks 2000. they have *really* nice cars usually. and most of them just need an oil change to run.

Just picked up Modern Family Seasons One and Two on BluRay for $18 each at the Amazon Black Friday sale.  Best price I have ever seen for these sets.

Yeah I missed out on some of the ones today, but am going to try to grab a few more this week.

Seven Samurai (Criterion) and Sweeney Todd being the two main ones.  I might also try to grab Anchorman and Galaxy Quest to upgrade from DVD if the price is low enough (Neither film screams that an upgrade would be worth spending too much on, but for the right price I would totally jump on it.)

And if that Tron Legacy is the BluRay 3D version, then I would grab that one if it is under $15.

Anchorman is one of my all time faves, but I don't see where going from DVD to Blu for that one would make too much of a difference.  Unlike say, going from a full frame VHS to a widescreen DVD.

But i would definitely pick it up for $5 or less, if that is what it is going to go for.

For me it was worth it because it's got the theatrical version in widescreen. I thought the unrated version was vastly inferior, but you could only buy the theatrical on a pan-and-scan DVD.

Was it PG-13 in the theaters?  I saw it in the theater and then bought the unrated DVD.  How much of a difference between the two?
