I feel like I need to get high to read the Lucasfilm poster in that link.

Hmmm... I wonder if these will be widescreen?  It seems to make sense that they would.

From the layout of the scaffolding I would think it's widescreen, or they will be fairly small on fullscreen.

OK; are you being sarcastic or cynical?

Neither, I think the shot looks great, and the when I saw it the whole thing jumped a few notches in scale. Before I thought it was going to be something filmed in Joels Garage. Now it's a huge studio affair with a Giant Green Screen, Crew etc..

To me it looks like someone from the extreme back of the studio is taking a photo of the main camera and the guys in their respective areas on the CT Scaffolding, so more than you would normally see in the course of the show.

Oh I made an HD poll/discussion thread over at forrestcrow, but people don't seem to get it, if you care to take a look it's here.

That is total awesomeness.

People who think it looks like a mess have never seen how a working set looks. This is gonna be cool, I can see them moving around between parts of the scaffold, people coming and going, all sorts of possibilities.

Bummer about the delay, but delays happen. I've been waiting for the latest racing simulator which has been delayed for over a year now, but that's a licensing issue. Seems to me the CT guys just want to make the project even cooler. I can live with that  8)

Besides, we'll have the Star Wars Holiday Rifftrax to look forward to on the 10th.

;D  It makes you wonder if Moby Grape was the opening act...

The only issue with that idea is that it entails remastering the movie, and that means having access to the film itself (interpositives and whatnot). I don't know:

a) if these material even exist for this movie anymore, and

b) how much of the rights to the film CT has purchased.

In concept, however, I'm all for it.

Maybe it was Jefferson Airplane and they appologized for their appearance in the Star Wars holiday special?

(sorry, I will NEVER get that shame/horror to wash off of me).

It's okay, man. We're here for you.

Oh I wouldn't want or expect them to remaster the movie, just whatever they have.

BEERxTaco

yeah, just get the highest resolution possible... widescreen would be cool too.

It makes me want brownies, and Funyons.

SaucyRossy

High resolution doesn't matter as much to me. Heck we were used to nothing at all for a long time before Rifftrax and the Film Crew. Let's just be happy!
