.

I gather this means that if we don't solve the puzzle by noon tomorrow, that the next Rifftrax will remain a secret to us until it is released.

Hm.  The jpg file is called Tantum Ergo.  Which I found about this:

"Tantum ergo are the opening words of the Vespers for Corpus Christi, also sung during veneration of the Blessed Sacrament."

There's also a prayer written by Thomas Aquinas called Tantum Ergo:

Down in adoration falling,
Lo! the sacred Host we hail;
Lo! o'er ancient forms departing,
newer rites of grace prevail;
faith for all defects supplying,
where the feeble sense fail.
To the everlasting Father,
and the Son who reigns on high,
with the Holy Ghost proceeding
forth from Each eternally,
be salvation, honor, blessing,
might and endless majesty.

Amen

Contantine was my first thought, but aside from the fact that I can't imagine them doing another Keanu Reeves movie, I don't think it is a clever enough answer.

Is it The DaVinci Code??  When does that come out on DVD??  Could it be the first "current" film to riffed???

David

Latin... hymns... Catholicism? Religious themed? The Exorcist? Hmm...

I think we are going to have to think waaay outside the box on this one if he is giving us a full day to figure it out.

WouTar

Just take the words and throw 'em into Babelfish or Worldlingo or something.

(As you can see I'm all martial and no art :D)

Tarantulas

"...cherubin et flammeum gladium atque versatilem ad custodiendam viam ligni vitae"

"...cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life"

Genesis 3:24

The entire verse is:

"After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side [e] of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life."

Well, at least it's not more Poe.   :)

Neither does Latin to English, though.  That's the first place I went.

Maybe?

I did find some latin to english translators, but they seemed to only translate a few of the words.  We should keep those in mind, in case the next clue is also in Latin.

I've already translated it like 3 messages up. :)
