The first Jurassic Park was a decent movie, fun in the theaters, and now and then a great movie to bring out at a party.  I think a lot of people turned on the JP franchise as a whole since the sequels sucked so bad.  I know I wanted to pack it in as soon as a raptor got it's ass kicked by gymnastics.

....it...did what now?  :o

OK, y'all must have seen In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (2007).

It was a really fantastically bad movie. I mean bad enough that I'm really interested to find out how it got made. Maybe this is a disqualification, but it practically riffs itself. There's a dramatic death scene that the audience laughed through in the theater. Really, please, Mike, we need this.

heh, I didn't even have the sound on when I found it, because I was watching the Batman and Robin riff at the same time I was looking for it.  Had no idea it was set to a headachey song.

Y'know, I'd love to see them take on Fantastic Four.

No, not THAT one.  They already did THAT one.

I'm talking about the Roger Corman turkey that was so bad, it never got released to theaters OR home video.
Like "The Star Wars Holiday Special", this one is also banished to the realm of bootleggers and YouTubers.

Roger saved the entire special effects budget for the last 10 minutes of the film.  And it shows.

RIPE for the Riffing.

i think it's pretty much agreed that the star wars prequels sucked, and that's why rifftrax went after those.  i wonder if they think the original trilogy is good and won't riff it?

There's 'speculation' that the original SW ep 4, 5, & 6 may be Riff targets sometime in the future

Why is Freddy Kreuger in it, and why is he wearing a monocle?
