On the riff, not the movie. I think it is all clear how we feel about the movie.

It was so dumb, it even made Bush cry.

Needed more wookies. I couldn't understand them, they were done with silly bad CG, but, they couldn't say bad, nonsense lines.

I'm saddened by the fact that I now own all of the prequels but none of the original trilogy.  I won't buy the originals on DVD until there's a decent release of the original theatrical cuts so I don't see it happening soon.

It's the worst thing that Rifftrax has done to me.  People will ask about Crossroads and Glitter so I can explain them.  The Star Wars prequels on my shelves is just pitiful.

The MST reference early on about landing safely in the Australian Outback floored me.

That wasn't an MST reference, that was a Skylab reference which was also used in MST.

Been thinking. Yippy.

Anyone considered the millions and millions of innocent civilians that would undoubtedly be dead on Coruscant after the opening space battle? They were awful close to the planet; those big ships breaking up, plowing into a planet-wide city with buildings literally miles high would kill innumerable numbers of civilians. Never mind little ships that could potentially maintain their integrity enough while crashing to at least plow through a residential structure, taking a few hundred with them, if one accounts for their payload potentially exploding. Just a thought, but it makes the opening a lot darker.

Considering they blew up the second death star when it was in orbit around the moon of Endor we can just assume Lucas thinks that metal evaporates after an explosion.  I mean if something the size of a small moon blew up in orbit around a bigger moon...you'd end up with more than a big pretty firework to make the teddy bears dance around.  It would be raining fiery death for awhile and would likely eradicate any life on the surface for ages.

Yes.  In fact I commented on it while I was watching it last night.  Especially the fact that the Jedi's don't really seem to care that the back half of their ship that just dropped off is going to kill thousands of people.

I've discussed the Death Star II thing before too; that bugs the hell out of me. Endor would soon after be a scorched wasteland.

But, of Attack of the Clones, thank God I'm not the only one who noticed all those massive hunks of metal crashing into the planet would take huge numbers of lives. And I'm not exaggerating when I say millions; consider the absolutely massive population Coruscant must have, and how high those buildings are (minding they're actually built on layers of yet more buildings). The back end of the ship Anakin 'lands' half of could easily smash through several of them before coming to a halt. Massive fires would be burning over a huge chunk of densely inhabited land; so densely, only a tiny number of natural features are visible (one is actually a massive man-made lake, so, not really 'natural'...and people live under it); specifically, there is a small cluster of mountains, notable for two exposed mountain peaks. Everywhere else on the planet, including the polar caps, has habitation. Craft of the size fighting over the planet, and so closely, would easily be falling right into it. Never touched on in the movie; I vote, Republic/Jedi cover up.

They are on DVD, widescreen, just not anamorphic.  It's basically a transfer of the laserdiscs, I think.  So yes, they're out on DVD, but not in a decent format.
