Great news!  Another DVD I don't have to rent/buy to enjoy the RiffTrax!
Think about it, won't you?

Looking forward to this one.   I liked "The Matrix", but man, did it take itself WAY too seriously.    Just ripe for a lampooning.

I agree, did feel a bit stuck up itself so will be looking forward to it's release as well.

Hopefully, Mike will intone an old riff from Pod People: "What pretentious crap."

Sharktopus

Neo after first seeing Agents after him: "Shit!"
Morpheus, over the phone: "Yeeeeeeessssss."

Pretty much sums it up.

More Kevin, hell yeah. Maybe this will be redemption, in my eyes, for the Star Trek 5 rifftrack which I did not enjoy... at all. Except for George Takei's jumping while Mike says: "Whee, Whee Captain."

Exam...Hat...

Nope.  You lost me.

Question: Was Halloween and The Matrix recorded in the same marathon session, like Bill did with X-Men and Top Gun?

Conor

I don't know where word of a supposed "Marathon" session even came from in the first place.  No, it hasn't been recorded yet.

Tarantulas

People I guess just assumed that there is some sort of Marathon of writing going on when Mike pulls a riffer in.  I guess to save on airfare?

Excellent, I'm a big fan of the Matrix movies. And my local library has a copy, too! Can't wait!! 8)
This iRiff will only be on sale for another few hours. Get it while it's cheap!

Huh.  I swear I heard in an interview with Mike that he and Bill had done both commentaries in the same day.

Bah, now the riffs are all going to be in anagrams.

First anagram:  Neo

Oh thats easy...its "eno". And we all know what Eno is...

This is fantastic news.  I'm a Matrix fan myself.  However, I'm unique in that I also have a sense of humor.  I look very much forward to this.

The Matrix is still sold in a snapper case. This confuses me.

Shinigami

That's the standard WB cheap-o case.  The Matrix was one of the first DVD releases (and one of my first purchases also).  They never bothered creating a new case.  Although, the slightly updated version is available in the Boxset.
