That call on Megatron was APPALLING! Full control of the football, both feet down, ass and legs down, then the hand bring the ball to the turf--so it's an incompletion due to it being "part of the same process." Absolute horseshit. And I'm sure due to the massive criticism, they'll change the rule juuuuust in time for someone to make a similar catch AGAINST the Lions. *sigh* It's tough to watch my team take sooooo many lumps, year after year. Hope Stafford is ok...

I think the actual rule invoked was the "We can't allow the Lions to win" rule.  It's not invoked often, just when the Lions are ahead in a game.   
I heard the game on the radio, didn't see it, but I've never heard of a call of "incomplete pass" on something that sounded so blatantly like a touchdown.  I've heard touchdown calls made on a lot less than that.

I found my father-in-;law having the exact same conversation with two different  neighbours at two different times following the game. I walked in on him muttering "Somebody had big money on the game, I'm telling you!" on both occasions.

I think I agree with the call ... its the receivers fault. Think of it in baseball terms, if it was an outfielder that caught the game winning catch... or even an infielder that made a diving barehanded catch... he better damn sure lift the ball UP.
