23-16 not too shabby. Oh and Herrington is the luckiest bast in the world. Despite being benched he still got to play for the Falcons today. And amazingly Atlanta lost, I wonder if he'll blame the Lions for that :D

Ok I'm going to tell you our secrets for success in this step by step lesson   1. try to put the most thick headed unlikable guy you can think of in charge of your team (dont even look at millen....HES OURS)    2. switch coaches about every quarter or so, this creates excitement and makes the team play better for the first 2 games of the season   3. always look for a diamond in the rough or a 20 yr vetran of the game......never pick anyone that is at the top of their game....we find them to be too cocky....4.  injurys,   I cannot stress enough how important it is to have at least 2 or 3 of your best and most expensive players on the bench for half of the season .  5. if your playing a team like lets say........the bears, and it goes into over time and your win the freakiNG TOSS ALWAYS LET THE F&&&(&*^&&%ING WIND DECIDE WHETHER YOU KICK OR RECIEVE (not that I dwell on that game) 6. and possibly most important, have 10 to 12 rebuilding yrs. allowing things to gel and come together creates a boring game for the fans, always keep them guessing . nothing makes a person happier than waking up every september and thinking   "this could be the year" , .........Well I hope I dont get into trouble for giving you some of the LIONS biggest secrets....and I hope they help.........LETS GO LIONS   (this could be the year)

Man, I remember watching that game and my jaw hitting the floor when that decision was made.   You knew the football gods were not going to let you get away with that.
