My first answer is: Hey its the CFL...I wouldn't expect them to get it right.
Then as I think about it, it makes sense. Isn't the female in most species the one you don't want to mess with if you get them mad?

Actually that would make sense and also tie in the Canadian aspect since it requires a little thought rather than simply willy waving like you often get in American sporting symbols.
