I've been a large fan of MST3K since I first saw you guys on Comedy Central. And when I first heard of you guys doing Rifftrax I had to become a member. Really looking forward to all the movies that will finally be torn to shreds by Mike, Kevin and Bill!

torgosPizza

Drew and RedEye, glad you could join us. Happy riffing!

Tempestjonny

I first found MST3K when i was fippiung through the TV channels and found what i though was simply a low budget sci fi black and white movie. So I began to watch it with the intent of ripping the hell out of it. I then realised that there were people on the screen that were doing that for me. and boy were they funny.

I found rifftrax through chriss hanel and his audio podcast geekza.
You are free to do as we tell you to.

Who is Chriss Hanel, and why is he ripping off my podcast?

Mark A. Siefert

Hey there. I'm a long time MST3k fan. RATMM poster, and  Homegame veteran (my handle was Cthulhu). I discovered the joys of RiffTrax last year and I've been enjoying them since.

*talking into a cellphone 'earpiece', alarms, buzzers and klaxon's blaring in the backround*
So should I cut the red wire or the blue wire? Hmmm...  *finally notices Mark A. Siefert and is startled*

Gyahhh! What?!  Oh it's you, sorry, you startled me there *sighs* they told me to expect some new members, I just lost track of the time. That'll happen when you're trying to disarm an IED, I guess....

*sees perplexed look on Mark A. Siefert's  face*  Yeah, I realize how that sounds but...  It's not there! *looks back at Mark A. Siefert* Er, sorry I was talking to my assistant, just one second... *turns earpiece back on*  Yeah, I'm back.....

....

But there is no 'plaid wire'....

.....

Yes I'm sure...... *rolls eyes, then turns to face Mark A. Siefert*  Anyway, as you know,as with MST3K, here at RiffTrax we deal with a LOT of really bad movies, which are often referred to as 'turkeys' or 'bombs'.  Well as it turned out during a recent server migration there was some kind of mix-up betwixt our server and the ones over at the defense department *shrugs* Go figure....  So as implausible as it seems, we were accidentally misidentified as a ... SON OFA B*****!  *points to earpiece* Sorry, I have to take this, it'll only be a sec...

...AND WILL SOMEONE SHUT OFF THE ALARMS, I'M GETTING A MIGRAINE!!!
*Alarms stop*  Okay, go.....

.....

Well why didn't you say so in the first place?! *finds and cuts the 'plaid' wire* There, finally! *turns back to face Mark A. Siefert*  So as I was saying, we were mistaken for an actual explosives disposal unit, and got sent an actual bomb.  Weird, but everything's perfectly safe n...*just then, the 'diffused bomb' goes creating a flurry of smoke, fumes, and...* Papers?! *picks up one of the 'pamphlets' and begins to read it...* Hmmm..it says here that: "Scientology is a wholly legitimate religion.....  ........Battlefeild Earth is a one of it greatest acheivements to date.....  ......John Travolta and Tom Cruise are truly shining examples of what can be acheived by joining....."

Hmmmm.... So I guess it was a propaganda bomb :rimshot:

I am 27, living in NJ near Philly, and am a huge fan of MST3K/Film Crew/RiffTrax.  Me and my crew of intrepid snark machines have seen:
LoTR,
The Fifth Element,
The 300,
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,
Raiders of the Lost Ark,
X-Men, and
Over the Top.  Over the Top may not have been watchable without Mike's help.

We'll be watching The Matrix soon.

I'm glad to find other people who share this love of mine.  Glad to meet you all.

This is great, love the Rifftrax site, all you guys who did the Mystery Sciene Theater show are all geniuses, I use to gorw up watching your show, though sadly I have to admit I did't start watching it till some time after Mike came on so i never knew about Joel until years later when I rented some DVD's. But I am in the process of getting ahold of the DVD collections. Well anyway I really like that you haven't stopped riffing on movies and that you continue to do so on your website, I bought a few rifftracks so far and there halarious.  And while watching the shows I have always wondered what it would be like if you had riffed on some other movies like the original "War of the Worlds" or severals others.

Sorry I went on like that, anyway its really nice to see you guys still riffing on movies and I wish you all the best luck on this site.

Just jumping on board now. As most (if not all) around here, I've been an MST3K fan for a while. I first discovered the show in 1992, been hooked ever since. I have every MST3K episode and all 4 Film Crew DVDs. I'm looking forward to building my Rifftrax collection. I just bought 6 to get started.
Here's to the start of a beautiful friendship.

Almighty dF

Just now joining though I've been listening to Rifftrax since the beginning, and was a huge MST3K nut before that.

I... am dF. And my quest is pretty much to watch every horror movie known to man. And a few that aren't.  Except Grudge 2. I'm sorry but even Chupacabra Terror (Or as I fondly call it, Chupacabras on a Boat) was a better movie than Grudge 1. The -Phantasm- series was easier to follow, and I felt Mike's pain as he riffed.
