SNICK_Tribute_Page · Bring Back SNICK

From 1992-mid 2004, Nickelodeon presented a Saturday night instituion for America's youth. SNICK invited us to sit on the comfy big orange couch (the official mascot of SNICK) from 8:00-10:00. It was must see TV for kids on getting away from school for the weekend. SNICK featured such classic programs as "Clarissa Explains it All", "Roundhouse", "The Secret World of Alex Mack", "Kenan & Kel", "Ren & Stimpy", the original "All That", "Space Cases", and "Are You Afraid of the Dark", just to name a few. The "golden age" of SNICK was from 1992-1999 (when the big orange couch, the heart and soul of the block was retired). Although the "SNICK" name is no longer active (instead, we have the rather sterile, bland "TEENick"), this page intends on keeping its spirit and legacy alive.

I'm going to step right up and admit that I used to Snick regularly every weekend. I mostly watched for Ren and Stimpy and Roundhouse, but Pete and Pete made a great addition, and Clarissa was a half-decent gateway to the funny stuff. Later in Snick's life, I also enjoyed the Keenan and Kell and All That, but the original lineup was golden. :^)
