Where is THE PHANTOM MENACE??

Hey all,

I have to say, this to me seems like the holy grail of riffable movies.  Why hasn't it been done yet?  My only guess/hope is that Mike and the powers-that-be know that his could be pretty special, and they're hoping to get a full-on MST3K reunion for it.  Thoughts?

Yes. It appears that it has been suggested three times already.

I found out that if you go to a thread and do the search function, it seems to only search that particular thread. If I did the same "Phantom Menace" search while on the front page of the forum, you'll get more than just three results.

The holiday special doesn't need to be riffed.  It's kinda one of those things that just needs to left alone so it can die.  Much like a rabid raccoon or Kevin Federline.

This movie can be somewhat redeemed.

Episode 1: "Balance Of The Force" MagnoliaFan re-edit. (I've seen this, much better then original.)

Episode 2: "The Clone War" MagnoliaFan re-edit. (I've not seen this, but read good things though.)

Some believe it's Kevin Smith re-editing George Lucas' stink-bombs.
