PS JP- Freakin' AWESOME poster man! You have totally outdone yourself this time!

People seem to dig the poster JP.  It would be totally sweet if you could buy a copy of it and then get it signed by the guys.  We should organize some massive event, then arrange to have them all at it so that we could make that happen...You know, one of these days...

Oh I know -- well, we ARE selling CERTAIN posters for only FIVE DOLALRS EACH at the Comic Con.... and those posters are newly edited, updated, and expanded to 11x15 in size.... I seem to remember 300 being one of those....

I'm betting there's not going to be a PAL version of this available for quite some time, right?  The UK version of 300 doesn't come out until September 17 (which is just about eight... count 'em, eight... weeks from now), so I can't see BathTub having anything to work with!

(sigh)

Bad start to the new Rifftrax season for us foreigners.

Oh Wow! That does Suck!
I think That right there should've been taken into consideration For Sure.

I think it's highly overrated. The plot barely exists, the action sequences drag on to the point of them feeling like video game cut scenes, the dialogue is laughable and all the performers essentially scream their lines throughout the movie. It's essentially poorly concealed homoerotic eye candy.

Really?  Guess I got a sweet tooth for subtextual sodomy then, because I loved it.

Thank you for my new favorite line, Steve-O. Your check is in the mail.

I love it when allegedly heterosexual men discuss musicals.  :)

Yeah...  The good thing about even slightly older films is that they're much cheaper to pick up - Generations cost me about 4 dollars in total.  To get 300 from the States, it just cost me 35!

But with the 3 guys riffing, I'm hoping that the purchase will prove entirely worthy.

I owe Butler an old grudge for getting cast in the Phantom movie. (I still have my old "Michael Crawford for Phantom" T-shirt around here, I think.) He's officially invisible to me too!  :)

By the way, as Dave Barry would say, Poorly Concealed Homoerotic Eye Candy would be an excellent name for a rock band.

As far as "Past the Point of No Return" is concerned -- Butler is WAY better than Crawford. I think the other songs could go either way, though the Phantom parts for All I Ask of You belong solely and compeltely to Crawford....

Also - Rossum is a fantastic Christine.... better than Brightman should Brightman perform it in her current state.

Hey! I love musicals.  The Fred and Ginger ones though, not the fruity Andrew Lloyd Webber kind.   ;D

You, sir, are an officer and a gentleman. I wasn't even going to mention my snarling hatred of all things Andrew Lloyd Webber (see The Tall Guy sometime, and then try and take anything that man does seriously ever again).

Oh, and by the way: screw you guys; Lon Chaney kicks Michael Crawford and Gerard Butler's asses. So there.

As excited as I am about this, Blockbuster employees can't rent movies till 20 days after their release  :-[.... though we do get to rent them the week prior to being released, but I doubt this will be out before it's release date
