I can't wait for the movie event 18 years in the making. MMM...64 slices of American cheese.

Here's what I think of The Simpsons for the past 7 or 8 years and the movie:

Global warming, where?

Pak-Man

Hey it's still funnier than 90% of the stuff they throw on TV these days. Everyone's all, "Oh, I hate the Simpsons because it's not funnier than 100% of the shows on TV anymore!" As long as it makes me laugh (and it does) it shall remain a Sunday night tradition. :^) Me and Tyrant are going to be in Vegas the night it opens, and we're gonna do everything in our power to find a theatre on the strip that's showing it. :^)

RVR II

I don't know...
If they would've taken it that little 'X-tra' step like say; Beavis & Butthead, early Ren & Stimpy, or early South Park, It Might've held my attention a little more often.

My friend saw a sneak of it at a theater owners convention.  He said it is worth the wait.

What's interesting is I think a lot of people who say it's not funny anymore, haven't seen recent episodes. I've caught more than a handful, from the last couple seasons (especially the most recent one) and they have been hilarious.

Can't wait. I'll be there on Friday.

I've never found this to be a good argument in favor of any show, movie, band, etc.  If something entertains you, then by all means, stick up for it.
But this method of defense/advocacy makes it seem like people have a tv quota to fulfill and so they choose the least crappy of the crap rather than doing something else with their time.
