The You Don't Know Jack guy would make a decent riffer.....

oooh... neat idea.

The host from YDKJ 2 (Schmitty) was played by Phil Ridarelli.

Hop to it, guys! Let's get this guy on the payroll and start pumping out some more hilarious guest riffs. :)

Nah, the best YDKJ hosts were Nate and Cookie.  Who were played by Harry and Tom Gottlieb, respectively.  And in addition to voicing their characters, they own the company that produced the games.

I disagree... Cookie was a horrible Jack voice. He just didn't have that sarcastic flair that is required. Schmitty was way better.

The movie could be a good night out with friends flick.  I loved the old series (also got hooked thanks to Nick-At-Nite), and I do like Steve Carell (Evan Almighty aside, but I expected that).

Also, is it just me, or is Anne Hathaway the most adorable thing to come down the pike in ages?  I sat through Ella Enchanted for her, and I'm neither nine nor a lesbian.  She's just too cute.

It's not just you. Anybody remember the short-lived dramedy Get Real? That's when I first noticed her. Get Smart will be the movie I've actually seen her in, though.

You know, I really like those gags in the trailer. They look pretty inventive and not derivative from the old series. It's too bad Don Adams isn't around anymore to do a cameo. :(

A quick recommendation then: Brokeback Mountain you don't have to watch it for long, infact you can blip through the scenes without her but she's the thing that makes the film watchable. She's delicious.

You know what confuses me about Brokeback Mountain?  All anyone could talk about was that it's The Gay Cowboy Movie, and since that didn't bother me, I went to see it.  Why didn't anyone spend WEEKS talking about the fact that you cannot understand a single word that comes out of Heath Ledger's mouth in that movie?  It was like a bad, twangy Dick Cheney impression.

Could be Worse..

I think my favorite Brokeback Mountain parody is the one Carlos Mencia and Mario Lopez did on Mind of Mencia--Wetback Mountain.  Did anybody see that?  I've managed to catch it a couple of times, and I laugh myself stupid every single time.  I (heart) Carlos Mencia.

Also why did anyone, gay or straight, look at the mumbling mess of pent up aggression that was Ledger and go "rworl break me of a piece of THAT! Mm-mm-MMM I love me some emotionally stunted cow poke lovin!". I didn't buy the central relationship at all.

You know, it was an interesting show -- It was like Malcolm in the Middle meets a warped Seventh Heaven =P

What I didn't like was how Hathaway's character had a monologue in the first ep where she said something to the effect of "This isn't a show where the kids know more than their parents, come one -- get real...."

However....that's ALL the show was.....

Yeah, his face started to look like an antique leather chair by the end of that movie.  Give me Ledger in a silly knight movie.  Sure, he had hair like Jessie Spano from Saved by the Bell, but he got to impale people with a giant stick!  I'm not totally base!  I got the symbolism!

Preow.
