QuoteWes Craven sued his neighbor Pauly Shore, alleging that water from the comedian's home seeped down a slope and damaged the director's property.

Craven claimed that a landslide occurred on his property in December after Shore upgraded his home with a pool, spa, landscaping and other improvements, according to a lawsuit filed Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court.

The director of "A Nightmare on Elm Street" and the "Scream" series claimed the seeping water has destabilized the land and lowered the value of his property. His lawsuit alleges negligence and nuisance.

Shore's publicist did not immediately returned an e-mail message seeking comment. The lawsuit said that because Shore disputes Craven's allegations, the director is seeking a judgment determining whether Shore should be held responsible for the damages.

His lawsuit seeks unspecified damages, including the cost to repair his property.

Really, who hasn't wanted to sue Pauly Shore at some point in their life?

Chaos

I don't really see how Craven has a right to claim that his property value was lowered by the damage, considering anything within 5 miles of property owned by Pauly Shore is instantly worthless anyway.

Some just shorten that to "Broo-chee!" I know, it doesn't really work, but "bark" isn't exactly an onomatopoeia

But it sounds like your saying "Blue cheese!"  Or that you're making a Swedish Chef impression.

I once stayed in a house on Sunset Blvd that Pauly Shore's mom rents out. I felt a little dirty.

That kind of language is not appropriate for Garfield's audience.

Well, it's kind of the same situation as Wes Craven having a house near Pauly Shore and it therefore being worthless... the only reason Pauly Shore could afford that house is because it was nearly worthless... Craven convinced all the neighbors that it was haunted and full of demons, so he could get some peace and quiet.

Boy did that ever backfire...
