You can't spell manslaughter without laughter.

You know, no matter how much I try, even seeing it, even thinking of him as a human being, even thinking about how this will affect his life, I can't bring myself to feel the least bit bad about this. If you go out of your way to stick your arm in a croc's mouth, THE ARM IS FORFEIT. As is your life. We can only hope this is a "lesson learned" and not a "after months of physical therapy, I'm ready to get back in the saddle" thing.
Moron.

I tried it, and thinking of this guy as a real, living human being makes him seem like even more of a jackass because you know that some real, live person just like you and me must have made the decision to put his arm in a fucking crocodile's mouth.

Junkyard

And now we both feel bad for not feeling bad?

RobtheBarbarian

Junkyard

Well now I feel good for feeling bad about not feeling bad.

But now i feel bad about feeling good for feeling bad about not feeling bad.

(Can you tell i was born a Catholic?)

RobtheBarbarian

You're struggling over fact that you feel good because you feel guilty like you're supposed to, but because you're supposed to feel guilty for the sake of virtue and not self-gratification, you feel bad?

No, I don't get it. Are you a vegetarian or something?

Junkyard

I'm a vegetarian, but not because I feel killing animals is wrong, which makes me feel bad, which makes me feel good, which makes me feel bad, which makes me feel good, which makes me feel bad, which makes me feel good, which makes me feel bad, which makes me feel good, which makes me feel bad,..........................................................

RobtheBarbarian

Oh god, he's stuck in a loop! Someone find his reset button!

Rebooting... loading... done

Heeey, buddy.... want a burger?

Junkyard

I do... and that makes me feel bad, which makes me feel good, which makes this joke old.

But yeah, I haven't felt really bad for any of the people who've died or been maimed while pursuing a "annoy animals" career. Even Steve Irwin.

RobtheBarbarian

Steve Irwin is actually one of the few celebrities I actually like as a person based on what I know about them. Of course it's his own damn fault for getting in the face of a sting ray like that and he's responsible for the consequences, but I'm sure he'd say the same thing - which is one of the reasons I like him. He's famous because of his altruism, not the other way around like the posers we have crawling around in Hollywood.

Junkyard

Really, that's the reason I don't feel bad for Irwin. Not because he deserved it, but because he probably accepted the strong possibility that he'd die at the hands/paws/claws/talons/tentacles/flippers/fins/pincers of one of the animals he seemed to love so much.

That and the irony of dying to one of nature's least threatening creatures

What makes me feel bad about THIS clip is that nature was not allowed to run it's course and this man lives on in defiance of natural selection.

Believe it or not, the willingness to do stupid things has been favored in male natural selection, at least with humans.

Of course, surviving those encounters is MORE favored by natural selection.
