Read it with your own eyes. Thundercats get the live-action treatment.

The furries will rejoice. The rest of us may be a bit conflicted. :^)

I wonder if he will be appearing in the film?

;)

pyro

so are live action 80's cartoon movies replacing live action comic book movies now?

Pak-Man

With He-Man also on the way, it looks like it. It's probably only a matter of time before Gem and M.A.S.K. start production. :^)

Brak

They already tried using The Tick as a Live TV, series, maybe they'll make a movie out of that or possibly they'll bring back Eek the Cat with his own movie.

Kumbaya!

"It NEVER hurts to help! "

And yet it always did. Hurt him a LOT!  :^)  While I would love to see a reincarnation of good ol' Eek in ANY form (Hello? DVD set?) a live action incarnation reeks of Garfield: The Movie to me. Unless they're willing to put a photorealistic CGI Cat through a LOT of pain, I dunno if it'd work. :^)

Cibernético II

does anyone else remember Eek the Cat originally being called Eat the Cat?

I could have sworn that there were voice over promos before the show came on where he said his name was Eat the Cat. I always assumed that people complained and then they changed it to Eek the Cat right before it debuted.
I really do like pie.

Oh, come now.  If I remember correctly didn't their ears move?  Thats a plus, so the costumes are somewhat abominable instead of completely abominable.  That movie was a brain hurter anyhow.

Seconded on that point, hell I can't even find good stuff on youtube. God I loved that show (not the thunder lizards just Eek! especially Eekpocalypse Now)
