My friends had a lizard who always hid under things. They called him "Cheney" since he was usually in an undisclosed location.

Of the names I'm kind of liking ozzy for some unknown reason. On a similar note. We have a blacklace angelfish named God. Reason? He's a black angel... which immediately Morgan Freeman comes to mind. And we all know Morgan freeman is god.

Need a name for my new fish!!

Okay I need a suggestion for a name for my new fish I just got. He's a Watchmen Goby. He's fearless, tiny and always ready for a fight. You can literally
see him huff at you when you get close to him. Later this week we'll be adding a pistol shrimp so they can be buddies (fish geeks will understand).

I tend to like Ozy too (but with only ONE 'z', otherwise it brings to mind 'Osborne' instead of The Watchmen's Ozymandias, which - I presume - was the in-joke idea of TripeHoundRedux, given that he's a Watchmen Goby).

If not - and given the fact that its temperament might justify it - you could go with 'The Comedian' (even tho he's not a clown fish  ).

If he were my fish, I'd probably name him Killface. In fact, if I ever get a fish like that, that's what I'll name him. Unless I decide on my earlier name suggestion.

I see.... I never read the watchmen books... but I think that's a great idea. The nature of this fish is that he is sort of a bodyguard and not really a bully. He keeps hidden and when paired up with a shrimp will protect it from other critters & even feed it. Since I have a clown... I think we might just have to do a watchmen themed tank! I think we have a winner.
