"disableremoteplayback" in streaming videos in safari/chrome on macos

Hi - I've been wondering for awhile now why I haven't been able to stream videos from my web browsers on macOS over AirPlay — while other streaming videos like on YouTube AirPlay just fine — and it turns out that "disableremoteplayback" gets added to the URI for the streaming video. Removing this attribute restores the AirPlay functionality. This issue annoyed me long enough I ended up making a crappy tvOS app to play the streaming links because it was faster than downloading the videos.

Anyhow, does anyone know why "disableremoteplayback" would get added?
