I KNOW that story is out there somewhere, But i wanted to see it told on a cinematic level.

They had that in the original script for Infinity War but the directors said they opted to cut it from the final product because they felt it was obvious what happened.  Thanos showed up to Xandar with his army, the Nova Corps put up a good fight in a big battle, but eventually they lost.  I think they felt like it would slow the story down, and be predictable, and be a complicated shoot.

I want to see some stories about what happened during the 5 years everyone was missing.  A small scene in The Marvels, and those parts in Endgame, were all we got.  It's five years.  You're telling me nothing happened?
I'm not particularly religious, and I don't really like Muppets, but I do love word play.

That is definitely a fair point. I personally just wouldn't know where to start with that. Also, since so many actors have left the MCU... permanently, that complicates things significantly.

Galactus is not just a big cloud.  That's cool.  Why Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards?  What happened to John Krazinski?  And does this movie take place in the past?  It looked a little dated.

I'm happy on the Galactus front, as well.  I don't know on the Pascal/Krazinski questions.  But with your last question, I believe it is in a sort-of 'retro-future' alternate universe.  Basically like how the people in the '50s and '60s thought our future would look, but in the FF's universe they actually made that future come about.
