What bits of learning have we harvested?

Pastor of Muppets

I learned that a small town with one extremely lazy and cranky police officer is poorly equipped to deal with a serial killer.
I learned that if someone hangs an effigy at your front door, paints threats all over your house, and throws a brick through your window, it's really not a big deal and you can just go to bed.
I learned that a clown breaking into your house, prowling around your yard, and generally stalking you, is not a big deal.
I learned that powerful and rich bankers in the country still live in crummy houses.
I learned that this must be the most passive female lead I've ever seen.  Missing parents, creepy prowler clowns, threats painted on the house, attempted rape by an old friend, bricks through windows.... Nothing gets to this girl.
I'm not particularly religious, and I don't really like Muppets, but I do love word play.

I learned that in the universe that this movie exists in there are radio stations that the youth listen to that play the same generic synthesizer music that makes up all the non-Tiny Tim music on the soundtrack. The less Tiny Tim music the better, but not spending on a knock off 80s pop or hair metal song or two was a big missed opportunity.
