Please Do Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story (2000)

[FilmNerd87]

Fans of L. M. Montgomery universally despise this show. The producer of the previous Anne movies lost the rights to Montgomery's works because he had not paid the heirs a fair share of the profits, so he made this mess of a movie with a love triangle, ridiculous espionage plot, and needless gore. A simple look at the IMDb page so that most reviewers give it between 1 and 5 stars. If you do not riff this travesty, the ghost of L. M. Montgomery will return to haunt you in your dreams, possibly with a franchise of movies based on Cats.
