Submissions For List of Crap #131 Worst Superhero Films

It seems although this LoC topic has received seven "likes", there is not enough motivation for those who hit the like button to actually generate and hand in their own list. So I am going to try something new with an old trick.

Back in the 1800s children loved Crackerjack.  A box full of popcorn and peanuts coated in melted sugar.  This was years before most candy was invented, and the only other sweet snacks being sold in general stores were slices of cured prunes and dates. And yet, as much as kids loved Crackerjack, they just couldn't bring themselves to spend the 10¢ they earned that week at the factory on a box. So as an incentive, the Crackerjack company began adding free prizes.  Buy a box and you could get a free whistle, decoder ring, pen knife, dart, fire cracker or sticker as a mystery prize. It worked, and soon poor kids everywhere were spending a weeks salary on Crackerjack. 

If handing out prizes works as an extra motivation to get something you already want, then it should work here as well. For those who want a prize, Submit a list of 25 of the worst superhero films, and you could get one of the following:

#A $500 gift certificate to any participating Circuit City.

#A trip to Superbowl XXIII to watch the Cincinnati Bengals battle the San Francisco 49ers for the championship, as well as participating in the halftime show Be Bop Bamboozled in 3D starring Las Vegas magician/singing sensation Presto Elvis, with special guest performers Up With People.

#Meet and greet with Stephan Hawkins and Carl Sagan.

#A cameo role in James Cameron's Titanic II

#Front row seats at the hit Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark

#Free cooking lessons from chef Julia Child.


Partial lists don't qualify for the big prizes, but are still eligible for coupons worth 2 free Reggie Bars, redeemable at any Woolworth's.  My apologies to anyone who already handed in their lists, but the prizes are for those who haven't handed in a list yet.

Got the list.( 3x )  Responded to it. Got an EROR 303 page. Which means someone deleted the page that only says "Message Sent".  The web host  has some fixin to do.

     You have known about this LoC topic for months now.  Perhaps you are even one of the seven members who posted a "Like" for this topic, but did not submit your own list. Perhaps you even voted for the topic and haven't submitted.  If you do like this topic, then this is your last chance to submit a list, as the final tabulation is about to happen.

     This is your final chance to make sure this LoC turns out to be what you hoped it would be. If you want to make sure it has the movies that you know  deserve to be on the worst list, then submit a list. Otherwise don't complain if this LoC is mostly lame MCU entries, or a lot of films with pulp heroes that are only marginally considered superheroes.  And do not assume those submitting lists will include that obscure independent/foreign/or direct to streaming movie you think is the worst. If you want that movie to be in this LoC, then submit a list of no more than 25 films you believe are the worst superhero films ever. Or else, don't complain about what films did or didn't make the top 50.

So I am going to assume no more lists are coming in and immediately begin the final tabulation.  Anyone still working on a list better hand it in right now or ask for an extension.  Partial lists and ones thrown together with little thought are accepted. But if I get nothing by tomorrow then I am going to begin posting  LoC #131

Got it, but there are supposed to be only 25. Probably my fault because the last LoC I hosted I asked for a 50 list.  I replied with a comment on a couple of films but have no idea if the PM was sent, because we keep getting THIS!.....

Will someone please fix this already!
Also, I noticed that the error page was copyrighted. Why?
